“I drew inspiration for my signature line from the motif that has remained my favorite for over 25 years. I just love the way it makes me feel, and I knew I had to personalize my first line of needles with the glamour and fun of the eternally fashionable leopard print. To top off the funky look, I paired the tawny browns and black with a slammin’ gold finial, carefully antiqued to appear a little distressed. How very chic.

My signature line had to be perfect. I’m a perfectionist and I couldn’t stand the way painted wooden needles snagged my yarn when I knitted with them. With Addis as my inspiration, I researched obsessively for over a year to find a protocol for achieving a glass-smooth finish on birch, and found it! My needles aren’t turbo, but they’re close. And, presentation is so important to me. I love the way the black marabou boa looks. The combination of old Hollywood glamour with the kitsch of leopard print is too cool.

My Signature Leopard Line will always be available to crafters, with needles in sizes 8, 10, 10.5, 11, 13, 15, 17, and 19, crochet hooks in sizes H, J, K, L, and M, and unique shawl pins. The newest addition to the Signature line, my shawl pins provide crafters with a fashionable accessory to wear with their handiwork.”
